Star Trek: Picard is a continuation of the legendary series Star Trek, which tells about the fresh adventures of Jean-Luc Picard in the person of the actor Patrick Stewart after numerous victories and retirements in his post as a spaceship captain. They include post-apocalyptic settings, questions of inheritance, and ethical issues, all set in a sci-fi environment. 

Commander William T. Riker, a.k.a. Will Riker, played by Jonathan Frakes, is very popular with the fans and had a leadership role as the former USS Enterprise first officer.
